My bobbin lace Welsh dragon.

Forum ATC swap

The theme was Winter- blue, white and silver.

I used stencil bumping, sewing, stencilled glitter paste, and lots of other stuff.

I learnt this technique at my local card club.

Bling card

I was asked to make a card with plenty of bling.

I embossed some silver mirri card, and cut the tree from some black and silver paper. Added some card candi and some die cut birds and a fence.  I then die cut a butterfly and mounted it on another butterfly which I used gilding flakes on.

Silver anniversary card

My goddaughter and her husband recently celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary.
So a special card was required.

Stencil-bumping backgrounds

We learnt how to do Stencil-bumping at card club last week.
These are my four examples.

We distressed ink the backgrounds, leaving the centre part lighter.  And then we used a darker ink through a stencil the from the centre and lightening towards the edges.
The stencil was then moved a fraction, and white acrylic paint was stencilled randomly.

Book title inspiration

I was looking for inspiration, and I thought why not use another book title.

So 'Half a Yellow Sun' came about.  Unfortunately I can't get the yellow of the sun to photograph properly.

Fifty shades of Grey

O.K. not fifty, but a few shades of grey.
